I started
this painting as a demonstration one morning at a local market. I wanted to
finish the painting in one session so as to maintain the ‘wet in wet’ sketchy
style. I spent about 3 hours on it at the demo and grew quite a liking for its
development. I got it to a good stage of completion but I was happy to get it
back to the studio where I was able to spend more time on it at a more
leisurely pace.
